Accomodation is limited but this is the cheap an cheerful that suits me

Chalets that sleep 2, they may allow more per chalet will email to find out.

Last week while chatting with Dan these chalets were 75euros for the 3 nights, they are now 90euros so if this is ok providing they will allow more than 2 per room suggest booking asap also !

We still have a spare slot on track if anyone else is keen to join us we'll need to know sooner rather than later. The cost of the trackday is £450 for both days. We'll need someone to take both days or partner with someone to take a day each and split the cost.

Please let us know!!

I might have a teensy weensy problem. If we decide to continue entering Tom in my car through the pre '93 Touring Car Championship then there will be a clash with this date. Clearly there are other problems with having any un-stolen Subarus left in the UK at this rate, but notwithstanding that I need to do some head scratching over what we will do next, and I will need to do this quickly. As soon as we are clear about our eligibility to continue racing I will know what will happen. This will be within the next 10 days.

LOL! :D It's not over yet - decisions are still to be made, but I do appreciate that very much 8)

BTW, Rocky is just the car that's being used and I'm only donating to help the team. Robin owns and manages the team (Team GCR) and their proper car is the Ginetta G50 (which incidentally ran rings around poor old Rocky at Cadwell  ). I'm just helping on the sidelines, nothing more.

Fraser - keep us posted. Right now I clearly dont have a car to go in, but i'm conscious that I need to either have one or make other plans in advance of us going, and all of that stuff - just let us know mate.

Bungalows in Spa at 37.5 Euro pp per night for 2 nights and when I saw bernard and his Maserati this afternoon, I asked him for some rooms across Den Drippel for the 3rd night

Dude, let's go for 3 nights in the bungalows in Spa. We're not going to be getting smashed on the Tuesday night till really late if we've gotta get back the next day on a ferry at 12...

Dudes,

1. The reason I thought of putting you closer to Calais is simple. Imagine you need to get to Dover mid morning for a ferry and somebody puts you in a hotel in Reading, what are you thinking of when you think of your drive to Dover ??
Spa is not only approx 140 miles further, it's also at the other side of Liege and Brussels...

I am of course happy to let you all stay in Malmedy (as that is where the bungalows are) for the 3rd night. I'm not the one who will be stuck.

2. I never get smashed, however often I go to a good pub. Matter of self-discipline ?

3. So will everyone stay in Malmedy on the 3rd night ? I need to know to ensure we get the right number of bungalows. We will go back to home after the trackday (so 3 people less). If necessary, I can put two extra people up there.

Spa- Calais, as the crow flies 178, by road 210 - 3 hr 5 min

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=U ... 1&ct=title

Ninove- Calais, as the crow flies 84, by road 113 - 1hr 47min

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=U ... 1&ct=title

difference being 93 miles, 1 hour 18min, and that's at 56mph

Like in your pm you don't like people telling you what to do

If the track day was just on the monday for all of us I have no problem with going to Nivone, but it is split into 2 days. On tuesday the one on the track may have to take all there luggage with them. There are also a few who may want to go to "the ring"(80miles) on the day they are not tracking at Spa.

So your saying were all a bunch of p1ssheads, Did'nt you have :puke2: all over your glasses when you came back from the boys room while out with Stu
