Brian, if you are going to this weekend's RR then please do a control test.
Sumo.

This threads gone quiet, are we sitting back waiting for some comparable results from this weekend OR have we accepted that our cars are way down on torque.

I guess we're all on a bit of a down after our poor results, and despite Mike Wood and Scooby Lee doing their best to explain it, I just find myself wondering how to confirm the published bhp and torque figures.
If Prodrive used P.E. to test their cars then maybe we need to do the same?

It's a shame really. I enjoyed the day, putting names to avatars. And I enjoyed the drive up (thanks Tuscan) but like Gangsta I'm feeling maybe a little confused.

Blobster :?

Still makes me smile when I'm driving though.

i had r/r @power engineering last nov and my results were 309bhp and 297lbsft so it was still low but torque was closer.

Nat a bad reslt there Mr Optimax.

Folks. there are things going on in the background, things are not sitting still ;)

We have a plan. Please bear with us for another week.

All will be reveived, so we all will be able to conclude this once and for all.

Im sorry i cant say what it is yet untill everything has gone through the channels etc.

But at the end it will provide us with what we want to know.

Just wanted to add, I'm still thrilled to own this car and enjoy driving it very much it's just that on reflection I think I would rather not have found out the figures.

I'm quite glad that mine's going without me knowing.

I've just been out in it and after driving a Vectra, X Type Jag and Polo all week it feels bloody fast. Well to be honest it IS bloody fast. As the bloke in the Chevvy Camero found out about 30 minutes ago!

Best way to look at it. All i know is that mine was quicker than another one i met on a "private" road a few months ago.

And dare i say very little in it when compared to another that had been remapped to produce more low down pull.

So i'm happy. :D
