We have great pleasure in releasing the Official Events Calendar for 2008. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to vote in the polls for the events they wanted. The resultant list is actually slightly larger than we anticipated, and the dates for certain events are to be advised, but here's the list to help you plan your year

All events will appear in the Events Registration forum once dates are finalised.

PS.. other events are most welcome too. This is just the list where most people expressed an interest in attending

***STOP PRESS!!***We hope to hold one of our national track events with a professional racing driver. Not only would you drive your own car but you would have the opportunity to drive a fully competitive race-prepared vehicle and get some very serious tuition indeed! Watch this space for further news.

There are some significant changes to the 2008 events calendar which are listed below. Principally, most events are the same, but the track calendar has been re-visited, and the revised listing now finalised. We'll get an events registration listed for these events as they become closer, and we hope to see you along for one or more of these.

I will be running events in a slightly different way from now on. Due to the appalling failure to get the Highland Tour off the ground, I will only be doing the site admin for the track events. I will make a hotel suggestion and let people know where to go to book the track, and it will be up to each member to do his own work in getting their bookings made.

On a more positive note, there is now a very good chance that we will have a professional racing driver join us for at least one of our track events. I'll let you have more details soon. I do hope that this will add to the appeal.
