Won't be going to any meets at all apart from Spa, were in the midst of buying some land to build a triple garage and storage unit which in time will be turned into 3/4 flats after the initial planning as been accepted.

Sorry guys but no Pooster !

OK, we'll set out a stage through the forest there. If you keep your end of the bet (i.e. you go faster than me on that 'stage'), I will keep my end of the bet and pay your trip.

If you lose, you pay your trip yourself ... and I take profit on it :)

You on still ?

Hang on... don't distract from your statement. You made a clear statement above... So I offer you the chance of showing it and of having a free trip to Finnish Lapland...

Agreed Bro !
Sandy is being a little unfair.

We can't be expected to do a trip like this, aswell as do Highlands and Spa and a few other UK excursions. Realistically "one" Euro tour is all I can do a year.

Finnish Rally will have to be 2008 for me to be able to go !

Forget Spain and looking for a job there !

Plenty of Brits ready to pay lots of money to travel to country of Santa. Set yourself up here as travel agent, send your children to the English school and learn how to drift your scooby properly ! :D

PS: not kidding.

I hate snow too in UK, Belgium, etc. It's cold and wet.

I got no issue with it in the North where it's just dry powder that looks good.

Bring your wife along in March ! ;)

:)

I can guarantee you that there is many people who are scared when they hear how cold it is. But they don't realise it is a totally different climate.

I remember many times flying out of Finland mid winter: -27C and snowing. I was in my normal work suit and had a jacket over and was perfectly OK. Then I landed in London or Hamburg where is was 'nicely' +3C and windy... And I was just freezin' my but off !

For kids Finnish snow can be surprising though: it is impossible to make a snowman with it

It would be as problematic to make a snowman modelled on yourself. We don't get enough snow on our 7 months to make a head that's big enough, let alone the 8 arms !
