This will be an international WR1OC event, based in the North of Finland. The Swede is the point of organisation for this event. This post is to let you know that registration for this event is now open. The event will happen in the first quarter of next year. Details of the itinerary and joining instructions will be posted shortly.

Some more details on the driving course.

The format will be:

- 1/2 day classroom training

- 1/2 day driving in the dark

- Second day : full day driving

There will be 6/8 trainers, people will go 2 by two in a car. Should keep everyone driving for most of the time. So no waiting :)

The cars will be normal roadcars equiped with standard studded tyres.

Martin, gentlemen,

In order to keep the key information around events at the centre of the posts, Fraser and I have decided we will split off the 'social considerations' around the events and put them in a seperate tread in the events forum.

This allows people to still give their opinion (and banter) while those who are new to the discussion can easily find information about the event.

The issue comes especially when we want to give some update or new information on an event and it ends up on page 3 of a tread. It forces an interested member to go through the entire discussion to get all the info.

Hope splitting info and chat is hence OK.

Cheers,
The Swede

No probs fella, perhap someone should inform us just to stop
people from wondering !

Or simply put a comment no post/comments other than enlisting and perhaps a link regarding other comments to the said event !

And you can move the above 3 aswell now

That's an excellent idea, Martin. Putting a link to the new tread if we split it off. I'll try doing that going forward ! :ok:
