Postby Brian » Mon Aug 16, 2004 6:56 pm

This event will be for the WR1 owners and everyone else who would like to attend.

To be held at Clive Atthowe Performance and Tuning Centre on Salhouse Road Norwich,

Saturday 18th September.

Kicking off at 9.00 AM

Now that the WR1s have been nicely run in im sure there are many owners who would like to know the BHP, Torque and Boost levels of their pride and joy.
and to see the variations on the manufacturers claims.

Yes we are looking for the Most powerful STANDARD WR1

We are also looking for the most powerful MODDED WR1 ( i know theres a few )
Clive has done us a great deal of

Might be up for this if no-one else takes the last two WR1 spots. Would I be able to get on the rollers early though as I have a meeting in London at 3pm that I need to be at. Especially important that I am there, given West Ham's performance last week

Anyone travelling up on the day from Colchester way??

Brian, you're just trying to entice me! Secret WR1 owner eh! Will they be wearing a mask during the day then to hide their true identity?

LOL, he pmd me on Scoobynet and didnt want his name down.
Which isnt a problem.

A Rolling road does not invalidate your warranty anyway as i have checked.

But some people do like to be cautious, just in case their WR1 is the most powerful.

Okay, I'm up for this. Be a good run out, Colchester to Norwich then back down to London then back to Colchester. Who know's might get a good result on the rolling road and a good result with West Ham and my day would be made :P

I'd need to leave by about mid-day though, do you think I could get sorted by then or is that unrealistic? Don't know how long these things take, not been on a rolling road day before.

:?

Is that an engine map or a street map, if its an engine I'm not that bothered but if its a proper map then I'm very interested cos I am hoping to come down for a drive out and have a look, having never seen a rolling road in action before.
Here's looking forward to it.......Sumo

I'd better get my Nitrous and CO2 sorted out.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all. I think I'm right in saying this will be the most WR1's together in the same place at the same time :D

Yeah, I'm up for seeing these too. Was looking for some mud flaps originally but to be honest not too sure of the pictures I've seen so far. Also was looking to the twin headlamp setup but again having seen a photo I'm not sure I'm up for that one either...

Be nice to see what other's have done to their motors :)

any spaces left Brian ?

Not to worry if not (I'm not obsessed with figures) but I might come along for the ride and to meet a few fellow owners.

How long do you expect to be there ? 9 o'clock sounds early to me :D
