A5 Road Trip

Postby Mac-1 » Mon Apr 16, 2007 4:58 pm

OK Boys and Girls,

EVO and I are planning a day road trip across the A5, through to:

Capel Curig-cross country to and down the Llanberis Pass to Llyn Padern for a photo shoot

Cross country to Bethesda and up the Ogwen Vally and another photo shoot at Tryfen and onto Betws-y-Coed for lunch.

From Betws-y-Coed down the Llayder Vally to Festiniog and some more photos.

The return trip has a number of options but will depend on the time left in the day.

We plan to leave the Worcester area on Sunday Morning of the 29th April about 08.30. EVO is looking for a meeting point where we can get coffee and bacon rolls before we set off.
Feel free to put your names down, you outlying members can join us on rout if you wish.

Wherabouts are you planning to join the A5?

I live about 1/2 mile from the A5 near Hinckley. Could meet and take you for a top breakfast and then join you on at least some of the trip?

Mac, I'd love to do this - it looks like a great trip - but impending baby arrival means I probably won't be able to make it :( Have a great time, and I'll be thinking of you

Had a chase around with the others that agreed to come on the road trip and they still want to go on the 29th.

So we will be going but will use it as a reccie day and arrange a WR1OC meet later in the year, say September. We have a number of hotels locally so we could go out for a meal and for all you beer monsters a drink or drinks
