looks to be some half decent availability in hotels.

2 nights stay. couple of hours tour of the harbour on boat with bar

some food and some more biere

I'm in Scotland on 4th May as a Best Man at a wedding so my chances of stumbling down to Bournemouth the following day look a little weak. Coupled with this, we have a serious pow-wow with the gynae consultant on Tuesday to start electing dates for the baby's birth and I have a horrible feeling it's gonna fall wrong in terms of that weekend.

I would very much like to be there, and it has nothing to do with cars. I'd just like to come and see my friends...

... and have a few beers :wink:

I'll hopefully know more after Tuesday and can give you something more definite then. If baby stays 'indoors' then I may be able to swing by, complete with pagers, bleepers, mobile phones, and an emergency helicopter on stand-by. Just in case, y'know :wink:

PS... does anybody know the taxi fare from Bournemouth back up to the Midlands?
