Can't make it now, guys

My wife goes into hospital tomorrow. Her blood sugar is going crazy and there's concerns over the amount of insulin the baby is producing. As she's also still placenta previa we will be working with the clinical team this week to decide on a due date. We've been told it is likely to be in the next 10 to 15 days time, so it looks like I'll be a daddy just before you go to Bournemouth.

Drink lots of beer for me, and hopefully we'll get a chance to wet the baby's head soon!

Thanks for the comments, all. It's half-one in the morning and I've just given up telling the missus she does not have to scrub the house from top-to-bottom before 8AM today. Has she packed? Has she f***! What is it about women and their mothers? The house does not need to be perfect.

In fact, who gives a flying sh!t about the house, but no! We need to make sure that Aggie and that other fat bird can't find any dust on the house bricks outside. And heaven help us if I was left in charge of the washing machine! Can you imagine the carnage?

I really, REALLY, wish she would rest. I've only logged on in desperation to give me summat to do.

Sorry Martin and Dan. This is why i can't commit to a lot of things and i won't put my name down unless i am 100% sure.

The relatively limited time i have with my daughter means that i'm if my ex wife will not play ball on swapping weekends then i won't do it as i will loose out and potentially will not see her for a whole month.

It's not my style to let people down like Spike does :roll:

, especially if there is someone elses money involved so i just have to sit on the fence.

If its any consolation if i had comited and booked then pulled out i would pay my way. Maybe Spike should as well.
