2007 Racing Events

This will probably get complicated very quickly, but I thought it might be worth working out what people really want to do from 2007 onwards if they want to put their cars on the track or enjoy other rally pursuits. Majority rules, but this doesn't preclude any event - just the event numbers. Everything's do-able. Just a balance between your cash and your desire really.

Forgot to add.... All events are our cars being taken, convoyed, and raced for each event with the exception of Finland (unless you fancy driving more miles than Clarkson on Speed in a Bugatti).

Tommi's school plus Spa and Ring.

Tommi Makinen: 4 consecutive world titles rally. No doubt one of the greatest ever rallydrivers and on snow and loose surface, unbeatable.

Why would we want to travel 400 miles to the Netherlands and be 15 miles away from the two greatest tracks in the world.

Nordschleife is still known by all manufacturers as the most demanding place they want to test their cars
Spa-Francorchamps has always been the favourite circuit of all F1 drivers.

Why would we settle for second best ?

No need to bring cars to Finland, btw for the rallyschool. They provide 2006 Spec C in full Gr.N guise.

Also not expensive at approx 200 GBp for the entire training. In the UK, you often pay more to run a souped Escort Mk II or Golf GTi around a patato field.

In that case, we all wanna take the BaT guy who called our cars "Turbocharged Japanese barges" for a few laps next year at Spa. Hope it rains again !

Should I investigate possible logistics for organising a driving course at TMRS ?
