Track Day at Bruntingthorpe

Hi Guys, basically, im in the middle of organising a track day and should be able to sort a decent price for a track day at Bruntingthorpe Airfield and Proving Ground through a couple of guys i work with.

"A diagram of the circuit is shown below - we will be using all areas of the circuit but will use the largest loop which means a lap of 6.75km incorporating the straight section which is over 3.22km (2 miles) long! For interest, of the 17 International Grand Prix circuits around the world, the only circuits with a longer lap distance are Spa Francorchamps and Hockenheim."

The day will last circa 9-5 with 5* hotel lunch included for around

Wouldnt it be great with P1s and WR1 on the same track

Just a notice to WR1 Owners on here.

Track days do invalidate your warranty.

So if you want to take your car out on the track.

1. Make sure you do not say you are taking yours on teh track
2. As soon as you arrive, either cover your number plates up of put a nice personal plate on

3. Ask the Organiser of the event not to publish your name.

If you would like to be added to the list either PM Jag the the organiser ... (above)

or Like me ... who has no warranty anymore with the engine. add your name down below.

thanks for the quick responses guys!

i've had this open for a while on p1woc, but needed to get the ball rolling again.

i'll have words with the guys who are running it to see how many instructors will be on hand for the novices amongst us (i dont think i mentioned that they will be on hand in the original post!)

it should be great to see all these ltd edition subarus out on show! how does everyone feel about mixing it up with a few Porkers and Modenas? there might even be a guest appearance from an Original Shelby Cobra!!!!

lol. working on luring a few Cupra Rs etc. will try and get hold of some RX8s as i work with these car owners quite often....

All in all, it should be a great day out.

im liasing with some very leniant (sp) Instructors so it will be fun seeing guy really push their cars to the limits.

as mentioned before... if you know of anyone who may be interested, please include them in the list!
