Had a great day at Bruntingthorpe. :) It was good to meet up with so many of you. Thanks to all those that organised this fun day out.

The only downer of the day was cracking my windscreen on the way back. That's two now in 5000 miles. :(

Yep, Thanks Chris and Rosy :D

Good to meet everyone and nice to see Spike is as funny as he is on here. Track action was fun if a little busy and disjointed having to stop every lap

A few stone chips need sorting, lot of grass needs removing from my wheel arch and geometry needs aligning but other than that no probs

Nice one to the Smurf who actually is a nice bloke in person   and just seemed to keep hammering round taking people out till he ran out of petrol. Must have done a lot more laps than anyone else i think.

was indeed a great day. lots of effort from Chris and Rosy all much appreciated. the afternoon ran a lot smoother with track time than the morning partly thanks to Chris organising all the stewards and shipping people into various cars
absolutely great fun, learnt a lot about the car, even found the point where you completely lose the back
fantastic turn out by people on here, great to see some new faces, shame we didnt get to talk to everyone for very long.
So what's the next event? is there something else happening soon ? :woohoo:

Wow, what a day - full of highs and lows for me.

Got to the meet point on time - high.

Intercooler boost pipe decided to part company on the road trip up, meaning 60mph top speed and a bumper off job in the car park upon arrival to repair - low. Thanks to all who helped with the repair, adamwr1, huss, markymark, etc and the group of guys from the lotus oc - you dont know how much I appreciated all your assistance :thumb: , could have been a lonely job.

With the car fixed at about 11am I was then treated to a ride with adamwr1  - high. Amazing, truely amazing to experience what these machines can really do.

Then it was time to have a go myself and after a few laps with adam giving me some points it was time to take out the general public. For me this was the best part of the day - the look on some peoples faces was priceless  - biggest high.

Superb fun day out - thanks to everyone for making me welcome and BIG thanks to everyone who took me round for a lap, gangsta, adam, spike et all.

Right off to order a new set of front tyres, phone for a service and then book a track day at Bedford Autodrome

quality day. ruined a set of tyres 8) , set of brakes 8) and ran the car to fumes 8) ... but everybody got out of the car with a smile on their face and that is all matters  .

Disappointed that the track was so heavily coned but probably stopped my tyres from exploding so I mustn't complain too much.

Cheers to Rosy and Chris for organising and policing our gate.

8) 8) 8) 8)

good to finally meet marky-mark too!! 8)

Sorry to have missed you and Tracy, Jimbo. I was queueing for ages to get a ride in a Viper and when I met up with Chris after, he said he'd seen you. Glad everyone enjoyed the day.

don't know whether it was just me that noticed this but apart from that Typr R engined white exige all the other lotus's at the track (including the esprit) were really really disappointing. I would really like to know whether the drivers were pushing them because myself, adam and neil were just passing them at every corner. I almost hit one because it started slip sliding all over the place around the chicane.

Brunters deffo changed my view on the whole 'Lotus's will rip a subaru around a track' argument that their owners always come up with when you question why you ripped one so easily on the road.
