Sunday 20th August,this year will be better than ever,no bikes only cars WR1OC have been invited,we have to pay 20quid each which will go to charity,so still a cheap price for 8hrs track time.
Only car clubs are to be allowed so no boy racers with their novas,we will have a gate to ourselves so everyone should get plenty of time on the track,Rosy will put up more info over the next few weeks.
So get your names down for this meet it promises to be a good one.

Just had to cancel the round-the-world cruise for it but hey, it's right next to my birthday so it's gotta be worth doing. In any case, the last time I had a track day passenger I boiled the gearbox oil then he threw up (just) outside the car. But it's OK, it was only an Audi, and I melted the rear valance in the process - see if you can spot the lack of plastic....

It was July last year, though we did squeeze a couple of late entries in at the last minute. We need 20 cars so we can have a gate to ourselves at the event. If there's less than this we'll have to share with another car club, like we did last year. So, if people want to put their names down even if they are undecided for whatever reason, at least then we'll have spaces for any last minute people, should anyone on the list drop out. Don't forget to PM me with your full name and car reg.

Blimey ... don't know how I missed this thread!!! As If I would miss this meet!!

Rosy ... will have to send you my car details when I know which one I'm bringing and what the reg plate is. Will know by Sunday.

For anyone that didn't come to this last year I would totally recommend it. Loads of beautiful cars and a really nice track to experience them on. Really rewarding, as a person, to make somebody you don't know smile simply through turning up and taking them out in your car.

Awesome, Rosy! I'd love to organise that kind of event. Must be a job out there for me somewhere.

It's close to the Spa run so it sounds like additional tyres may be in order. There must be others to come along. I've just spoken to a friend, and he'll come down from Scotland 'specially for it (but not in a Scoob :cry:

)
