that route you said in an earlier thread dave sounds good to me, like you say queing up is a bit of a no brainer really. :wink:

a few nice stops, for drinks and a rest sounds nearly as good as walking round whitby, and joe can finally get to pose down scarbrough seafront. :toofunny:

Theres lots of good fish and chip places in Whitby so I wont be queing for long, queing goes against the grain with me.

How about meeting somewhere on route and driving in the scenic way as there is a lot to show our guests from further afield.

Say meet up York, Malton , Pickering ish area, Travel over the moors via Hutton le hole and moors that way, calling for a coffee or coke at Blackey Ridge the highest pub in the country, then through Heartbeat country into Whitby, then maybe later down the coast road to Scarborough via Dalby forest drive, just a thought.
Would sort it but I am leaving for Silverstone today.
