Rolling Road Day II

Postby chris » Wed Sep 29, 2004 8:38 pm

Can we do another group meet either later in the year or early next year once everyones cars have been properly run in?

I couldn't make the last one but it looked like a good day. 8)

Maybe the next one could be a bit further south?

Sounds good to me, need to find a proper rolling road place though,

As i would like to have full diagnostic equipment linked up to my engine on the rolling road and i know for a fact that most rolling road companies dont do this.

Clive Atthowe attached many monitoring equipment to the car at our rolling road day.

He had to stop 2 rolling road sessions short as problems where detected with two of the STi cars that went on.

So im a big believer in care and attention ;)

Oh I wasn't suggesting he should do that at all of them ! Just I agree with you about not all rolling road companies being so responsible and giving the same comfort level I had that day.

A fellow scoob owner had his wrx ppp on a rolling road (not going to mention who for obvious reasons) and they forgot to turn the fan on at the front so there was no airflow! got up to some serious temperatures before they noticed
