I am really looking forward to this now!! I am a track day virgin! weather looks like it will be sunny or overcast, with a bit of a gust at times. but fingers crossed, there will be no rain.

I will be leaving lincoln area at 0530ish on the day - anyone else driving down from around that area?

Sorry Guys i may have to pull out as well, ABS ring on the nearside rear exploded today, may not be able to get it sorted before Saturday, may not be a good idea to run without ABS althought to be fair im sure there's plenty of cars running no abs at all.

Can people please PM me with their addresses if they need Visitors passes or Drivers passes and are not meeting the rest of us in the convoy on Saturday. I have posted this up several times that it is essential that people have the relevant passes as this is an invitation only event. If you leave it too late I won't have time to get it in the post to you.

I know this sounds daft but remember this is a Saturday Event NOT Sunday.
I have visions of someone waiting in the lay-by on Sunday morning.

Just so everyone knows my plans, me and the family are driving down Friday night after work to Hinkley Island Hotel. Not sure what time we will get there but would be good to meet up with people somewhere for dinner and a couple of pints.

Will fill up when we get there so there is no rush on Sat morning. We will be up and off from there at 7am to get to the usual meeting place at around 7:10 and will convoy in + collect a pass.

Steve and H20 are sharing the RB320 and will be setting off at around 5:45am and will meet everyone at the event.

We will also stay Sat night at the hotel as its a long day to drive back with a cranky 1yr old.... plus i can have another beer :)

See you all at the weekend at some point all being well and dont forget your WR1 Hoodys!

Just in case anyone arrives late and misses the meet at The Mill on the Soar on Saturday morning, I will leave Drivers and Visitors Passes at the entrance gate to Bruntingthorpe so you can still get in. WR1oc will be on gate 5.
This is not permission for people to deliberately arrive late as we need to get as many of our cars as possible into position, prior to the track opening at 9.00am. If you do arrive late then there may not be a parking space available to you in our designated area by the track.
For those who haven't been to this event before, bear in mind that there are 9 car clubs going on the track with around 20 cars each, plus the other car clubs attending as visitors and around 10,000 people all queuing at the only entrance to the grounds. This is why we need to be there as early as possible.

Any passes I post out today may not get to you in time so bear that in mind. Can you PM me - not Chris B, as he is at work and I need to access his computer to get your details.

Same for me too !

this is a pretty random question but here goes anyway... To all those attending this weekend, do any of you happen to know of anyone selling a flange to fit a HKS blow off that will be at the event? I ordered one yesterday and it doesn't fit !!! :(

:woohoo: Well what a fantastic day! Top organisation from Chris and Mrs B ensured it all went smoothly for us from start to finish - thank you! (you pair deserve a medal!)
I met some fantastic people - Chris 280, Megaman, Rocco, Simon, Black Widow & Loco to name but a few, who had cars to die for -
(and when my brakes faded on lap 12 i thought i was gonna die!)
Great to see Ollie and Matt supporting the event, maybe next time i'll get to go in the awesome Gobstopper!
Was proud to be involved in the day, am now hooked on trackdays and still haven't stopped smiling!

Err, how much for a set of Brembo's?
