Will have wife and baby with us so cant really do a night out before on this occaision, happy to meet for a few drinks the barcelo hotel bar or go for a meal to the harvester down the road if anyone fancies it?

PS do you really want to be hung over when driving the public around a track?!? Having said that it seems to be those not wanting to drive that are up for this

Newbie alert....

Genuine question .... My insurance doesn't cover track days and even specifically mentions the Nürburgring isn't covered. If we're going to be taking Jo Public for spin who picks up the pieces if little Jo has an accident?

Do I need to finish him off to stop the claim?

BTW I've viewed the youtube vids and pic links posted here, and it all looks very well regulated ... but what if?

Drivers sign a disclaimer to say your responsible to sort out insurance, everyone who attends takes responsibilty for themselves so be cool and just enjoy.

Chris B thanks for your reply. It's as I thought on the disclaimer form. As it's my first track day I'm sure I'll be very reserved.

I thought for a moment I'd committed a Cardinal Sin by asking an insurance question :-/

Sorry I've not been on here for a bit and I've been leaving it all for Chris B to sort out, but just to make sure new people know the drill. If you are coming in the convoy to Brunters I'll have all the passes to hand out when we meet up, if you are making your own way there I will email your pass for you to print out so PM me with your email address. Also let me know if you need the visitors pass for people coming with you in their own cars. Thanks to those who have already PM'd me, I'll sort you out tomorrow.

So who will be staying at the Barcello and are we having our usual pre-event get together? We usually meet up at the hotel for convenience, but there is a Harvester not far away and also The Hinckley Knight near there so there are a few options. It would be nice to meet up with the newcomers as well as the usual crew the night before the event.
