yes still here, been out and about a bit the last few days, nearly got fu**ed up big time on wed, i will put a post i sent to some mates, , on the way home i had been overtaking cars, when i came upon an accident, there was plenty of police, ambulance, doctor, i had my window down, when all of a sudden a traffic cop put his head in the window and said that i had been seen driving dangerously, i said that i had not done anything like that, another cop came and asked his mate what was up, he told him that someone told him that i had been weaving in and out of traffic for the last few miles, causing people to take avoiding measures from me, one of the assholes who i had overtook had only gone and said that to these cops, then they told me that i was going to be stopped and interviewd about this incident, and if proven would get a court date, and more than probable 6 to 9 points, i was sat there, i didnt know wether to cry or laugh, i was not sure who had grassed me up, but i was sure i was going to meet them in a min, one of the cops came back told me to get it sorted, and then told me to be on my way, and be careful, i can not tell you how wonderful i felt at that moment, all the things that had been certain a bit ago had gone, ins hike, points, my wife beating the shit out of me, a criminal record etc, i can not understand why they let me go after they had scared the crap out of me in the first place, maybe when he went back to ask the person if he or she wanted to pursue the matter they had a change of heart, but all i can say is thank F**K for that, i drove home at 5o miles an hour, because i did not know which of the cars was responsible for telling the cops, and did not want to inflame them any more by going over the speed limits, needless to say i am very releived that nothing happened to me, but it just goes to show that you have to give people no reason to get pissed off with you, even so they were driving at 45 to 50 on a 60 road, if that accident had not happened, this event would have not taken place, it just makes you think how quickly your perfect day can be ruined, by some tosser getting pissed offf because someone had the audacity to overtake them, and then try to F**K them up big time by telling the cops that i had been driving dangerously, lets hope i never have to go through that again,mick HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE HORROR STORY. Some people over react, did you drive safely?
Ive had people coming towards me the wrong way on a duel carige way, not good. You know your limmits etc...... Chil out and forget it. Joseph
i never take a chance, if i am not sure i stay where i am, i never drive to close to the car in front, even so a lot of cars are inches from my back bumper, easy to say chill out and forget it, but the thought of someone that was so pissed off that someone had overtook them, and was ready to F*ck me up big style, i just can not get my head around it.
As i said some people, they are most prob more of a liability than you. Maybee they had to much time on their hands.
