Thanks to John Mc Tiddler (Dogging Expert) Tiddler (Dogging Expert) for inviting me along to see himself and Megaman at a Yorkshire Focus Owners club meet. A very welcoming bunch and a very much enjoyed trip out. Love the roads and the route directed by Mega. Would love to do it again with a chance to see more of the hill top roads.

John, I'd be interested to see your video footage too. Fab journey home too.... Just got home after getting lost a few times.

Was great to see you again mate, long trek for you!!! I'll have to edit it soon mate, I am on holiday next week so might be a bit of a delay as busy this week with work and training!!

The last section of the run was IMO the best as the roads were clear and some fantastic twisty roads with a few straights, I was inbetween an RS4 (behind me) and 280bhp Megane (in front)... the RS4 was slow through the twistys but my god on the straights...

The megane was very quick through the twistys but not as quick on the straights... I didn't get to see much of the focus guys because even though there were 30+ of them mostly tuned... there was us 3 in the WR1's at the back of the queue but the focus behind us (270bhp) just couldn't keep up with us... Mega and myself couldn't keep up with Bro's monster when he got into 3rd and 4th coz the difference in torque and power was very evident!! Just kept pulling away from both of us!!

Would be great to get the WR1 club up here because you guys would love the roads, it would have been nice to have a few more at the weekend to mix it up with the focus's a bit more although I think we held our own very well!!

thanks for coming along guys - everyone sends their thanks to us for joining in on the run with them. We were very unlucky with the fog at the top of the hill as the views are normally amazing up there. I think we should get a run up here organised for the club as its a nice part of the world.

At least he made an effort to come along (with his paintbrush) unlike some

The first 2 sections of the drive were a tad slow because trying to keep 35 cars together was a bit hard. Everyone opened up on the last section because the roads were empty and no slow drivers. It was a bit frustrating when people didn't overtake slow drivers especially when it was perfectly safe to do so!

Don't believe a word Pasty says. It isn't easy for me to publically admit that I had a superb day at a Focus meet, especially with everything I have said in the past. If Mega sees to invite us again I will do my very best to pop over.

Unlike some who ?

We've driven more miles than anyone to go to WR1 meets :?

It shames me to say you get 3 WR1's attending a focus meet, when you stuggle to get that number at a WR1OC meet.
I for one will only attend Brunters for support to Chris B and a trip to the ring/spa again with or without WR1OC members attending.

Mr Glumbum live in the arse end of the country and expects everyone to come and visit his miserable face??? FFS.

You only ever invite your close friends. The rest of us are left on the sidelines.
