Anyone interested? I'm thinking of meeting at a pub, bit of a chat, realise that Megaman should be called Norris, pinch JohnMcs arse, conclude that Craig (P0060A4H) is unstable, maybe a bite to eat.

Anyone know of a nice location?

What time are you thinking of meeting?

Buxton is 1 1/2 hrs from where i work or just over 2hrs from my house. If i go straight from work it will be 7ish before i can get there... ive a long haired mate in buxton who knows all the good driving roads... might collect him on the way round for a ride out if i go on this...

Is everyone working on that Thursday? I am but could take 1/2 day holiday.

If we are meeting after work then we'll need to take into account traffic getting to the meet.

J27 M62 has plenty of parking and places to eat such as TGIs, Pizza Hut, same as most retail parks like that if that is any good to anyone... its where Ikea/toysRus/showcase cinemas is.

I dont know any pubs out manchester way or ideal places to meet. I do think Buxton is a great place to organise an event such as the dales run where you meet early on and all go for a drive around the good driving roads. That would be best done at a weekend though given the early start...

Just googled a pub called Turnpike Inn (J22 M62) bit closer to Bro and Ferret.

Why not do Buxton on a Saturday instead? I think evenings are going to be difficult if people are travelling an hour or so each way.... especially after a day at work!!
