West Yorkshire Meet Up - John & Megaman

Thought it would be easier to do it this way than to PM you both separately.

I will be heading home (Baildon) on Tuesday 28th, so will be around I guess from 5-6ish in the evening. Obviously after showing the new arrival to my little brother.

So if you fancy a quick pint and a natter somewhere...giving me time to compare my new toy to your other examples too...then I would be willing to drive wherever is easier for you both.

Hi Caveman,

I can probably make the meet Andy. Any preferences as to where you want the meet to be?

Do you know the Burley Bypass on the way to Ilkley? At the end of that is the generous pioneer pub just off the roundabout... Might be a good place to meet with a bypass next door if you wanted a blast. big car park too to get pics in... I get home at 6 so would suggest 7:00-7:30 as a meet time there to give me chance to get back, fed and changed etc. Dont know what time John gets home.

I couldn't tear Bro a new a-hole from 50m, no, that was an embellishment, more like 10m if I'm honest :lol:

But I do train with guys from those brigades up in Harrogate, yes. Killer training, no matter how fit I get they still manage to make you want to puke during each session and no 2 sessions are ever the same!!

Neil Wojtas was in both those detatchments over 10 years. The other guy is Johnny Quinn. They are both PT's at the army foundation college in Harrogate. Top blokes especially Quinn, he is a nutter and his sole determination is to 'kill you' during training :shock:

You'd be very fit doing that training for 8 years regularly, respect!!

You fancy going to Oulton Saturday? I might go over but depends on the missus, not under the thumb or owt!! :oops:

She's been away for 2 days so no doubt will need me to iron the grass or hoover the driveway all weekend :wink:

Hiya,

No ive got a run to the lake district with the focus st owners club on sunday so will be washing the focus and then going up and staying over at my parents just outside ingleton in preparation for the 10am start on Sunday.
