If I can get a lift with someone I can bring the camera along :)

Should hopefully have a nice big juicy 400mm zoom lens by then too!
If in doubt...

Anyone else for the track, get your names down, must be a scooby remember, even if you nick one or get one out for test drive,we should be next to Subaru UK,hopefully Matt and Olly should be bringing the Gobstopper.
All you new guys are very welcome this is a great day and you can blast around the track like Woza, but you will not catch him.
Heaven can wait....I'm playing with my scooby.

We can meet up just off junction 20 (Lutterworth) as normal no later than 8am or be at the Shell garage where we fill up,if you are going straight to Brunters do not go through the village as the locals moan about the noise.

Any more of you new guys coming to this, very near to junction 20 on the M1,also who needs to be met at the lay-by just off jun 20 which is the Lutterworth junction.
Can a mod make this a sticky so none of the new guys miss this event.

Meeting Times for bruntingthorpe, for folks coming down or up the M1,we will meet you as last year at junction 20 at Lutterworth at 7am,we can then travel to the shell station to fill up with V-Power and then on to Bruntingthorpe.
Anyone not meeting at jun 20 can wait on the Mill on Soar (pub) car park opposite the shell station,if you fill up as you arrive and then move over the road so we are not blocking the garage forecourt (busy road be carefull crossing) we can then go on to bruntingthorpe in convoy to arrive at 8.15,we have 45 minutes to set up and someone like Fraser or Kevin can go to the drivers briefing at 9am,a quick warm up on the track and we are ready for action.
The shell garage is on the B4114 Coventry Road between Stoney Stanton and Broughton Astley.

Since we have to meet at 7am which is mega early in my book I think id better do the same as last time and drive down the night before and find a nearby hotel like a travel lodge... Why has the meet gone from 8am to 7am?

Cheers

I suggested somewhere that some of us who have a fair distance to travel grab a lodge and have a meal and a beer or two the night before..

If 7am is a bit early just go straigth to the shell station for 8-8.15ish,and meet there,we can try to see if any local places might do a deal for the night.

Yer i think a local travel lodge or similar with a pub attached would be a good venue for the drinks the night before - preferably near to the shell station so we dont have to get up at 6am :)

There is a pub dead opposite the shell station that does b&b called the Mill on the Soar.
£46/room,extra for breakfast but if we take the 6 rooms spare at present they will do a deal.
Tel 01455 282419

Or there is as last year a deal at the hinckley Island on the A5 which is very nice,pool/gym.
See Rosys post on page1 for all the details,£55/room inc breakfast,I would go for this,it is very good, easy to get to from the M1,M6 M69
