I need to advertise it on P1woc (I'm hoping Marky Mark would do this) and Scoobynet to get the numbers up.

Presa are you gonna put the M5 on the dyno ? Not sure if they will be able to do that with the SMG box, Ive read stuff about it before, maybe better double check before you do.

Bro, is there many going on the evening meal ?

All that technology and you can't even put it on a rolling road?

Those clever Germans think of everything!! (well nearly.....)

I'll need to research it bud, I know thorney have had csl's on rolling roads, but there are other issues with the M5, such as the Traction control cannot be fully switched off which means it will probably spin on the rollers even in third, killing the power.

I've seen cars with 700bhp+ on rollers, much more than an M5!!

I would have my doubts that too much power or torque is the reason

Surely an FQ400 can go on the rollers?

  Ive been trying to find info on google and the beemer forums but its not saying much, I found a bmw tuner who seems to have had one on the rollers, as he is quoting graphs for tuning remapping purposes etc.

Would being unable to kill the DSC cause problems ? Last thing id want to do was stick the motor on there and wreck the box or something.

That would be an expensive mistake, although on the flipside, it would be a good excuse for a change!! (Not that you have a reputation for changing or anything!!  )

Presa is more than welcome to discuss with Prosport. I don't see why DSC would cause a problem.

Meal - who knows. Are you considering venturing down South Bigman?

You can switch DSC off but not completely, it remains in M Dynamic mode. I can't see that there will be a problem, I've seen plenty of M5's on dyno runs.

My main concern will be whether it will get its power down properly on the dyno itself, running rear wheel drive only and on part worn tyres it may need bigman to sit in the boot to get some traction on the rollers

I will speak to CA Automotive about this though and establish the best settings to run on.

I've never stayed there and to be honest I've never eaten there. My wife has eaten there a few times with mixed reviews. The last time she went it had been taken over by two nice men. Myu concern would be that it is a small place. If I'm staying at an expensive hotel I prefer the less personal service and not be one of a three guests... if you know what I mean.

Regards location, yep, short taxi ride back from Wilmslow where the riff raff will be putting down their drunken heads.

Look at Mottram Hall. Spa treatments available as I'm sure you are the sort to get yours nails done before a night out. Swede usually stays at Mottram so he may well add some info too.

As usual beer will be drank in Wilmslow on the Sat evening. I will be reserving a table at Heddy's for those interested. Usually a fat b*stard meal with a beer is around £30 per head.

http://www.heddys.com/

Sat Evening meal.
1) WR1 Bro and Mrs WR1 Bro (if other partners are attending).
2)

I need a show of hands for the meal so I can book a table as the restaurant is very popular.

I assume the minimum hire of the facility is £525 (£35 x 15)?

Could we go with 11 and pay £48 each (11x48 =£528)?

What do you get for £35 (or £48 )? Is it one rolling road session each?

I hope this is still gonna happen, been looking forward to it.

WR1Bro maybe an idea to send an e-mail to all the forum members, as not all may have visability of this event and might be interested. Plus maybe get some dormant members back on

Also have you opened it to SMACS???

Does it matter if it's not a WR1? It's got a WR1 grille and spots........ and was originally mapped by Prosport
