would be a good idea if people who are interested in this event can put dates that they can make, and we can sort of take a rough idea of a date that will be right for the masses

let me see what other dates, or just the ones that were in the original thread are free, but it is not going to be likely that a date will be available to please everyone, people will always be working or likewise.

We had a Poll and the most members can make June 18th

How many are interested in this event to put their WR1 On the Rolling road, to compare power graphs from any previous Rolling Road Days ?

Too risky that, Sods law says it would cost him a holiday

But come on Mick, how can the rollers hurt it? you already posted a thread saying you were doing a speed on the road which was higher than mine did on the rollers,
:lame: excuses

Stick it on the rollers. Unless it's been badly modded it's be fine. And if the worst happens you've got a warranty!

your engine can go BANG, but like dave said, had mine up to 140 a couple of weeks ago, a rolling road doesn't get anywhere near that, but its just the horror stories that keep happening on these things :omg:

I don't understand why your engine can go bang on a RR?

Maybe someone could explain the risks of a RR. The only thing I can think of is the lack of airflow cooling the engine.

I'm not too bothered about knowing the bhp either. All I know is that it is the fatest and most capable car I have had. Plus, she still scares me a little!

echo your comments, a little bit of fear keeps you concentrating, these cars are awesome, but there is a limit even for the 1's.

Folks Folks, calm down.

The only cases i have heard of. With regards to going bang. Were all on heavily Modified Impreza Engines.

With mapping / fueling problems.

I have NEVER heard a standard engine go bang.

Even my ole Type R, which was rattling and smoking was remmaped, it spent all day on the rollers and had about 10 Runs in one day, it had done 60K and was on its last legs, but it didnt die.
