Not impressed at all...

Postby G_Sleigh » Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:40 pm

Hi everyone, Its my first post on here, Hope everyone is o.k.

Right why am i not impressed?

Well being 21 my insurance only allows me to get a scooby WRX 05. Still loving the look and gonna put the STI spoiler on.....

My question was what colour shall i have? I saw this photo below and fell in love with the colour, just to find out that its a WR1 only colour :(

Gutted. So black it is then. lol.

at 21 you will never get insured on an import - believe me I tried time and time again!!! WR1 you can get insured on no probs - if you are prepared to pay between 3-5k - like I had to

The difference between the WR1 and the WRX is crazy - it's a completely different car and worth incurring all the extra costs for.

If you can truely afford a scoob (not talking about the initial purchasing costs but the upkeep, petrol, servicing and modification bug you will get ill with  ) then buy a WR1. It is the most complete standard UK spec scoob that you can buy bar none!!!

i think the ice blue WRX were just EU imports so insurance as UK spec.... but as you say WR1 would be better for him..... not me.....

Got my insurance sorted.

Luckily i own and built a car parts company www.GSMotorsport.com, being in the trade i can get insurance without cripplying my self to much. STILL a heavy price.

I decided on UK spec not import though
