Proton Satria
Impreza Turbo 2000
WR1

Always wanted a scoob from when I first drove one at 18. Said that I would have one when I turned 21 - which I did with the Turbo 2000. Hooked now especially after how impressed I am with the WR1's performance and handling (both pre and post modification.)

Still have the Cavalier at the moment to avoid miles on the Scoob. It's done 258000 miles bless it.

There's a lot of Fords on these lists!

It's interesting to see that a few people have moved from MY03 and MY04 STi's to the WR1.

I think i'll hang onto mine for a bit. I did think about an Audi A4 but it was too dull.

I think i'll tune the WR1 up once the warranty has expired.

I'm driving a Vectra most days so the WR1 feels totally first class now!

Not boring at all!
The RS turbo was one of the few Ford's I didn't own.
If Ford produced an Impreza equivalent now, who'd go and buy one?

If they do bring out the 300bhp Focus 4wd then my name is going on the list.
I always wanted an Escort Cosworth but by the time I could afford it I could by a newer Impreza for the money.

FUNNY AS GOOD AS A FORD COULD BE IVE ONLY EVER HAD ONE AND FOUND IT DULL,TO DRIVE TO LOOK AT ETC ETC,I DONT THINK ID EVER BUY ONE ,ITS GOOD TO HAVE SOMETHING A BIT "DIFFERENT".

QUITE STRANGE, BUT IVE NEVER HAD A CAR THAT GETS SO MUCH ATTENTION PAID TO IT BY OTHER DRIVERS AND ALWAYS TURNS HEADS,AND IN ALL HONESTY ID SAY THE SUBARU,S TURN AS MANY HEADS AS THE LIKES OF FERRARIS ETC ANYWAY.

I guess that the number of Impreza's is partly due to the Subaru UK connection as welll as being a complete muppet and not spending my hard earned cash on somelse a little more sensible

A RS Focus cosworth would be very intersting, my mate has a RS Focus he has a de-cat exhaust, induction kit and a performance chip upgrade. It is a great car other than the handling on the roads especially B roads. In fact for me it was not any different to driving the Escort Cossie I owned. I have been asked which car I preferred, I compared the Terzo to the cossie as the Terzo was not new, IMHO I would go for the scoob, but I certainly would test drive any new focus cosworth if it ever came to being.
