A Air Con Pump when engaged only uses about 7 BHP.

THis kind of weather using it a a drier, it cuts in for about 40 seconds, then custs out for about 30 seconds.

I had a problem with the idle on the WR1 slowing when the pump cut in, but this was sorted using Delta Dash. To increase idle speed when the AC is on.

Car shouldnt sound any different though ?

Had 2 WRXs and now have WR1 where you can here the AC engage and dis-engage - this is louder that other AC cars I have had and it seems to alter the engine noise however is simply the unit.

If in doubt get it checked...
