They should fit straight on Ray. 225/45/17 can't see why you'd need the arch rolling.

Iv just read on SN that 225 are not recommended for classics

It's the tyre dimensions.
I had a set on it for a week when I owned it and there was no problem.
You may catch slightly if the car is fully laden and you're throwing it round corners or over a rough surface.
Buy the Speedline Turini's and have done with it!
