How was it run in?

I think Sumo's was fairly low due to not using all the revs.

I take it you'll be calling Prodrive on Monday?

DO NOT post this on Boobynet!
It will only add fuel to the flames!
I'd be on the phone first thing on Monday morning.
Try PM'ing Mike Wood as well.
Hope you get it sorted out.

All manufacturers figures have to be taken with a pinch of salt.
They quote the maximum figure they can, when it has been tested in perfect operating conditions.

I sell mobile phones amongst other things and the battery times people like SonyEricsson quote are so unobtainable in the real world it's almost a lie. But the get out is they managed it in the factory!!

I held off from getting the PPP for my STI as I'd heard so many stories of the car only reaching 280/285 on the rollers. A 20bhp increase for 2 grand???? Do me a favour! I'll go for 340 bhp for

Good luck and keep us all informed.
It'd be very interesting to know what is said. That is, what excuses you are given, "heatsoak, roller operator not competent, you must've used 95 ron fuel, didn't run it in correctly" etc etc

Good luck with it anyway. I was just thinking if the car's been used on very dusty roads the filter may be clogged.

Try getting your ECU reset it's only a two minute job. Make sure you're running with Optimax and go and give it shit. It'll feel no end different.

I know how disappointed you must feel. I'd had a bit of work done on my WR1 and then when some of us met up for the Rolling Road Shootout, mine gave the worst readings. I was gutted. Straight back to Roger Clarks and had a few things tweaked - now it's more like the animal it should be!!

We we seeing bad results on Clives Rooling Road due to Heat Soak.

THe air of the Fans do not blow into the intercooler

Did PE spray Water onto your intercooler ??

Heat soak makes a Massive difference, by Lunchtime Clive was glad it was over as the workshop had started to get warmer, this makes a diference.

The Dealer wont be able to do much, it sounds like a trip to Prodrive who will plug their laptop into your WR1 to have a look at what is is doing.

Pro Drives programe can estimate the BHP, we tested this programme on Clives Rollers.

Pro Drives laptop extimated that the Pro Drive car to be 316 and the Rolling road put it at 315.5 so its accurate.

Its be sorted mate ;)
