Hi all

368 gone in for respray on front and rear bumpers also needs bonnet and roof doing , definitely a money pit but you gotta love em..
should look nice when done and get ready for spring and summer and a few car events ,japfest , rallyday, goodwood etc and hope to
meet some other wr1 owners and subaru enthusiasts :D

Are you getting the roof and bonnet painted, whys the roof needing painted, presume the bumper and bonnet is due to stone chips?

yes stone chips and roofline near windscreen getting some rust screen gotta come out as under seal :roll:

common problem, cowboy windscreen fitters butcher paint when cutting seal. then you get rust appearing behind seal.
273 still on original screen so rust free :woohoo:

how did the respray of the roof go?

i also have same problem - i'm guessing from new front screen several years ago.

n/s front wing also requires attention now. going quite rusty under paint. perhaps mudflap fitting is the cause of this?

researching local bodyshops for early summer spend! :shock:

Hi
only had front and back bumper done so far ,going back in early june for windscreen and roof to be done , but they
made a lovely job and perfect match .. upcoming house move slowed progress , rest of car ok :roll:
