i always thought the plaque was fitted from new , but it wasnt.
always wondered why some people would remove completely or seen a few stuck to next to cup holder.
just been looking through paperwork that came with 0367 as i have all original documents inc original sales order and receipt.
it seems that the cars came first and a couple of weeks later there is a letter with ppp cert tax disk holder, key ring and plaque.
it asks for car to be returned to dealer to have tax disk holder and plaque fitted.
so people probably couldnt be bothered going back to have them stuck in!
hence some missing or in wrong place.

That will teach me to read all the paperwork, I too have the original letter that came with the car, and having just read it through, you are 100% correct.
