I just passed 500 tonight. 300 for a family visit at the weekend and then she's in the following thursday!

Noticed I've got a cracked indicator side repeater today :-( must have been like that from new, cus she's either outside my window at work or in the garage - they better sort it or I'll be moaning!

yes will do, what in your opinion is the best way to go, say no more than 5000k for 500 miles, then 5500 to 6000 in the next 500, before taking it to the limits, thanks for any help you can give.

i was taking the revs up after 500 miles, so at 1000 miles it was totaly run in.

If you have been reving low up til now, take it easy for the next 200 miles.

i have based it on extra 500 rpm for very 100 miles...

occassionally rev up to 6000 but just dont go mad.

I hear of owners, being really cautious for 1000 miles and then after the service going to the red line on every gear change and hammering it from then on.

In my opinion its too much of a sharp shock, the ecu has to learn slowly for your new driving style.

Personally I'd just drive the car and have fun....mines got 15,000 on the clock....been serviced 3 times...and have just filled up having done 260 to a tank...and I don't hold back!!!

In my opinion drive the car from day one....don't thrash it....don't rev to high until its all warmed up....but drive it how it was designed to be driven...

Hi rum hows it performing after 15000 miles has it got alot quicker as the miles have gone on ?? (remember me you took me out in yours a week before I picked mine up down in canterbury?) mines just done 5000 miles and feels like its getting quicker as the miles add up!!. Yours is the only other WR1 that I have seen on the road as I havent seen a single WR1 since owning mine for 7 months and I am out on the road all the time for work as an RAC patrol !!!. Insurance is due in may so will give you a call in april !!

Hey Stijoy...........wait till you leave the garage after the service looking for that piece of clear road. If you don`t scream like a girlie after thrashing it through every gear from o -100 ( where conditions allow ) I`ll be suprised.

And if any of these owners say they didn`t when they first opened up the rat up after that first service, then they`re tellin` porkies mate!

Hope you have as much fun as us lot.................

ps.
watch out for the fuzz man!
( that`ll be the po-lic-e to you Northern lot! )

pps.
You`ll also need to rob a friggin` bank to pay for your new unexpected full bill as well!
