JUST CRASHED MY WR1

Postby Simon » Sun Nov 21, 2004 7:28 pm

:
cry: Ive had the car about 6 months and only done 2000 miles.
Took the car out for the first time in ages and on my way back from Southampton after giving the wallet some punishment.
Went around a roundabout and on leaving it i hit some oil on the road and lost the back end doing a 360 on a dualcarriageway and crashing into the centre reservation finally ending up facing on coming traffic.
They think it might be beyond repair.
feelin pretty p**sed off tonight.
I hope none of you go through what ive been through today.

didnt have the heart to take any pics.

We got out ok , i felt bad as i had the girlfriend with me
the most annoying thing was i was only doing 45mph tops.
it caught the centre reservation pretty bad .will have to wait now and see what the insurance say.

Glad you're both ok. Hopefully at 45mph the damage won't be as bad as you fear.

Normally I'd make a witty comment to lighten the moment but on this occasion I will refrain.
I don't know you personally but rest assured I'm gutted for you. Glad you're both ok and at the end of the day it's a lump of metal which will be repaired or replaced, people can't be.

When my WRX was hit whilst parked i went to a place who give you a car that's equal to your car. Well that's the idea but i had an X Type Jag for a couple of weeks. They then recover the cost of the hire,
