The dfealer i bought the car from NEVER washed my car when it was in. The top notch dealership i now use ask if you'd like it done. I always say no but at least the offer is there!

When i had my Audi it didn't matter why you'd gone to the garage the car was always washed and vacuumed. This even included once when i only went in for a test drive!
