Shall we do something for poorly kids at xmas?

Postby jaycee » Thu Oct 14, 2004 10:27 am

Please don't anybody take this the wrong way but I mean for kids in our country who have to spend Christmas in hospital and may not live to see the New Year.
We could have a whip round, an event or something else. Suggestions?

Let's show everyone how generous Scooby owners are!

I saw a link about this somewhere recently, you can download the info from your pc and upload it to the TomTom.
I'll search it out tomorrow and get back to you on it.

I'd be happy to do something to raise money for a good cause.

How about we all blag some gear from our Dealers and raffle it off?
I'll throw a couple of things in as well.

not wanting to be a grumpy ole git but, nearly every site is trying to do the same thing.
My self and Tubs organised one of the First Great CHildren in Need COnvoys last year .. ever one else seems to have followed suit. as they saw how succesfull our event was.

If if phone a scooby supplier asking for a donation or something ill get the hard shoulder as they have probably been phoned at least 3 times allready for the same.

What we gotta do is think of something NEW !!!

dont get me wrong its great to give to charity - its just that you have to have a unique idea that the press and TV would want to cover ;)
